Terms & Conditions

Booking Fee:

We require a 20% deposit to secure your booking date, which will be deducted from your final invoice. Please note this is non-refundable, and your date will only be secure once this is received.

Final Payment:

Your final payment is due 6 weeks before your wedding date. You will receive a reminder via email. If payment is not received, flowers will not be ordered and we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refunding the deposit.

Cancellation:

In the unfortunate event of cancellation by the client, the booking fee cannot be refunded. Please notify us by email of your request to cancel your booking. In the unlikely event that we (The Sunday Floral Studio) need to cancel your booking due to unavoidable circumstances (fire, natural disaster, death, serious illness, family tragedy) all money will be repaid to the client. We are responsible only for moneys paid, and not for other costs that incur as a result of the inconvenience. If we take the decision to cancel due to reasons such as inappropriate or abusive behaviour you will not be entitled to a refund. If a cancellation is made by the client less than 6 weeks before the date of the wedding, you will not receive a refund if we have ordered the flowers and this cannot be cancelled.

Rescheduling:

Rescheduling is cancelling. If you are rescheduling less than 6 weeks prior to your wedding, there will be no refund. If you decide to reschedule your wedding more than 6 weeks prior to your date, we are happy to do so if the date is available. If the date is available, there will be a rescheduling fee of 30% of your contract and your wedding flowers will be priced to current market value.

Postponement or cancellation due to Covid-19:

We take the health and safety of us and our clients very seriously. In the event that your wedding needs to be postponed due to ANY government restrictions, you will be able to transfer your booking fee to a new date, providing we have no other weddings booked on your new proposed date and providing it is not less than 6 weeks before your original wedding. If your flowers and materials have already been ordered, received and processed you will be liable for this cost and the labour provided, and we will not be able to refund your payment. Please bear in mind if you are postponing your wedding, flower availability will vary from season to season.

Changes and reductions:

We understand that wedding planning is a process and that decisions made early in the process may be revised as guest count and the floorplan evolve. We allow changes to your floral design up to 6 weeks prior to the wedding, all decisions are final at that time. Reductions to the scope of the contract are limited to 10% of the floral and decor budget, and not less than our agreed upon minimum. No changes will be made within 6 weeks of the event. All changes must be made in writing and are subject to approval.

Exclusivity:

We are your florist! It is understood that The Sunday Floral Studio will act as the sole and exclusive florist for your wedding unless otherwise agreed. By agreeing this contract, the client agrees that no other person or company, professional or otherwise, shall provide fresh or artificial floral products for the ceremony, wedding reception, bridal party or any other part of the day.

Availability of flowers:

We are unable guarantee specific flower varieties, as we work with a seasonal product. As much as possible we will stick to your preferred flowers, and the flowers we discuss in your consultation. However, if the quality is poor or we aren't able to source these, we will replace with a suitable alternative which is the closest match to your preference.

Hire of vases, candles and other props:

Hired equipment remains the property of The Sunday Floral Studio at all times. In case of breakage, damage or loss, the charge will be the current purchase price or value (plus delivery costs) to be paid by the client. It is the responsibility of the client to reclaim these costs from the venue, if the venue was at fault.

Photographs & videos:

The Sunday Floral Studio reserves the right to take photographs and videos of the venue, flowers and wedding in order to use in a promotional capacity for portfolio images and social media. Where the photographer and videographer allows we also reserve the right to repost professional images of your wedding on our website and social media accounts.

Responsibility:

The Sunday Floral Studio accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury or damage to the client or any third party with regard to any equipment hired for the event.

Adverse weather:

If there are adverse weather conditions and we (The Sunday Floral Studio) feel any of the proposed floral arrangements will be a danger to us or others, we will recommend alternatives. However, the decision of the client is final, and if it is decided to go ahead, The Sunday Floral Studio will not be responsible for any breakage, damage or injury of any kind.
